About Santa Cops 4 Kids - The Santa Cops 4 Kids benefit is an annual event that was formed in 2016 by members of the Rockwall Police Department and Rockwall Police Officers Association. The goal of Santa Cops 4 Kids is to further the efforts of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Rockwall County and Women in Need by raising awareness about child abuse and domestic violence while raising funds for both the CAC and WIN.

You can race with us anyway - sign up for the VIRTUAL RUN!
A virtual run can be completed at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. This is a great way for the rookie athlete to build up confidence to show up for the real thing! Or if you have raced with us before but you have to go out of town, sign up for the VIRTUAL RACE!
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit, motivated, have the sense of participating and get a great t-shirt in the mail the week after the race!
You can send the evidence of completing the race distances to virtual@playtri.com. You can send a screenshot from an app, your watch, your laptop or even a photo of your treadmill results for your runs. You can use MayMyRun / MapMyRide, Strava, Garmin or any other digital fitness app. Your t-shirt will be mailed to you the week after the actual race. HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE OUT THERE!

Race takes place at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium.

Course Note:
The course officially closes at 10:45am for all participants.
This 5K event is insured and sanctioned by USA Track & Field.
Per USATF safety rules and insurance, no pets are allowed on the 5K course. (We love our furry kids too, but safety first.)
Strollers are allowed to be safely integrated into USATF sanctioned events.
Pets are welcome in the 1M event. The 1M event is not timed.
The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 years. No minimum age for the 1 mile and Santa Chase.
The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved.
Playtri reserves the right to change any event course at any time due to safety, weather conditions, or other production concerns.
5K

*Youth price for children 14 and under
**Maximum age for the Santa Chase is 10.
Packet Pickup
We encourage participants to sign up online ahead of packet pickup to minimize waiting lines.
Thursday and Friday before the race
from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM: at Playtri Rockwall
Race Day Onsite Packet Pickup Saturday, 7:15AM-8:15AM. Picking up your race packet before the race day will help minimize long lines before the start of the event.
Late registration will be available at the packet pickup. Please note that no cash will be accepted. All new registrations must be completed on your mobile device via credit card.
REFUND POLICY
No refunds or transfers allowed.
A considerable amount of work and planning goes into planning events like this one and we do so with the best intentions. Refunding entry fees based on changes of participants schedules is not feasible as permits and basic provisions must be ordered ahead of time. We appreciate your support and understanding, and we will continue to work hard to produce fun and safe events for your best experience.

5K AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Overall and Masters Male / Female. Age group awards will be given out as follows: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Swag
Long Sleeve Shirt (Santa Chase does not get a t-shirt).
T-shirts are guaranteed to participants registered by November 30th.
Runners registered by the end of the day on November 30th are guaranteed a t-shirt of the desired/ ordered sizes. T-shirts order must be ordered on December 1st your t-shirts must be printed and shipped. After we place our order to the printing company, we can only guess what sizes might runners sign up for. If you love fun race t-shirts - sign up now and have yours guaranteed!

Weather
Average temperature on race day: low 40 - high 60.
For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
Chip Timing
The 5K is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. We will be using disposable chips for this event that you will receive attached to your bib at packet pickup.
Please wear your bib VISIBLY on the FRONT for timing purposes.
Please wear your bib number on the front and not covered with clothing or race belts.
Covered bibs may not be readable to the timing equipment.
Please only have your own bib on you when in the race. If you have someone else’s bib number, timing results will be affected.
The 1M event is not timed.
