The Playtri Coaching Certification course earns incoming Playtri coaches the title of Level 2 Playtri Coach and the ability to begin taking athletes immediately upon completion, with the supervision and mentorship of an experienced Playtri Coach. The course is based on over 20 years of triathlon coaching experience and study, and has helped coaches over the years get hundreds, if not thousands of athletes to their multisport goals.
Certification is completed 100% from the comfort of your home with the help of virtual training modules, reading assignments, testing, and help from an experienced coach whenever you have questions about the material.
Our certification covers crucial topics for new and experienced coaches, including:
The relevant science behind human adaptation and performance
Accurate load calculation that takes into consideration the varying stresses of swim, bike, run, and strength training
How to write key workouts based on the athlete’s goal(s) and current fitness that will allow you to look the athlete in the eye at the beginning of their program and tell them if you can get them to their goal
