What’s Included?

Playtri Coach Support: The Playtri Hawaii Camp is led by our top coaches, who will be with you at training sessions, lectures and Q&A to provide knowledge and support. Our goal is to ensure you leave camp with a stronger fitness and knowledge base to start your 2024 season.

On Course Support: Bike and run sessions are supported by on course vehicles providing bike mechanic services and supplemental nutrition/hydration. Swim sessions have kayak/lifeguard support for athletes’ safety.

Educational Sessions: Our day one lectures and daily evening Q&As may be your favorite part of camp! Sit down with our coaching staff and learn from their years of experience working with athletes of all levels. Get your racing and training questions answered by some of the best in the business!

Performance Testing + Bike Fit Add-ons

Need your bike fit updated? Want to get an Advanced Sweat Test done? We’ve got you covered. A variety of additional services will be available to camp athletes. Email headcoach@playtri.com to schedule your services!

Blood Lactate Testing (bike or run): $125

Advanced Sweat Testing: $250

Traditional Bike Fit: $125

Camp Cost*

*Cost of camp includes lectures, supported/coached training sessions and camp swag. Athletes are responsible for lodging, transport and equipment.

CAMP REQUIREMENTS

Athletes participating in camp must:

  • Be able to swim 500 yards non-stop, bike 20 miles and run/walk 3.1 miles

  • Provide their own equipment including bicycle* and helmet

*Bike rentals and builds/service available to campers

Lodging Recommendations:

Transportation:

  • If you are staying within a mile of Kailua Pier, our training locations are all walkable/bikeable!

  • If you want to do additional activities during your trip you may want to rent a car - the KOA airport has great rental options. Please note that free parking is very limited in Kailua-Kona town.
